PostsMix (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is an online magazine that offers helpful articles using the power of AI to generate high-quality content reviewed by humans. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

What information we collect

  • Contact form submissions: Name and email address, plus the content of your message.
  • Newsletter sign-ups: Name and email address.
  • Comments (WordPress native): The data shown in the comment form, your IP address, and browser user agent to help with spam detection. An anonymized string (hash) of your email may be provided to the Gravatar service to check if you use it. See the Gravatar privacy policy at https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval, your profile image may be visible with your comment.
  • Technical/usage data: We use Google Analytics to collect information such as pages visited, time on page, referrers, and approximate location (based on IP). We also use Microsoft Clarity for session analytics such as click/tap interactions and scroll behavior. This helps us understand and improve site performance and content.
  • Log data: Our hosting provider (Namecheap) may automatically log requests to the server (e.g., IP address, user agent, timestamps, requested URLs).

We do not allow visitors to create accounts and do not process payments on this site. We do not accept file uploads from visitors.

Who we share your information with (processors)

We use trusted service providers who process data on our behalf and under appropriate contractual safeguards:

Akismet Anti-spam

We collect information about visitors who comment on Sites that use our Akismet Anti-spam service. The information we collect depends on how the User sets up Akismet for the Site, but typically includes the commenter’s IP address, user agent, referrer, and Site URL (along with other information directly provided by the commenter such as their name, username, email address, and the comment itself).

LiteSpeed Cache

This site utilizes caching in order to facilitate a faster response time and better user experience. Caching potentially stores a duplicate copy of every web page that is on display on this site. All cache files are temporary, and are never accessed by any third party, except as necessary to obtain technical support from the cache plugin vendor. Cache files expire on a schedule set by the site administrator, but may easily be purged by the admin before their natural expiration, if necessary. Data retention

  • Contact form/email inquiries: Retained for the life of the site unless you request deletion, subject to legal obligations.
  • Newsletter subscriber data: Retained until you unsubscribe. We may retain minimal suppression data to honor opt-out requests.
  • Analytics and server logs: Retained for up to 24 months, after which they may be deleted or aggregated/anonymized.
  • Backups: Rolling backups are retained for approximately 45 days.
  • Comments: Retained indefinitely to support the discussion history and auto-approve follow-ups.

We may retain certain information as required by law or to protect our rights.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Access a copy of your personal data.
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Request deletion of your data.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing.
  • Request data portability.
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising; therefore, a “Do Not Sell/Share” link is not applicable at this time. International data transfers

We operate from the EU but may use service providers that process data in other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent lawful transfer mechanisms.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including HTTPS, regular updates, and scheduled backups. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to continuously improve our safeguards.

Children’s privacy

PostsMix is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post any changes on this page with a new effective date, and, where appropriate, notify you via the website or email.
